I do have to admit tho it took me a while to pick out each animal
but if you look at it long enough you see all kinds of things
one more thing why so many?
Done in Acrylics, Ink, Pencils, PS and Illustrator.
my personal opinion if you used illustrator for this 95% of the work should have been done in that program and the rest in Photoshop
ok wait.... let me rethink here
ok this is how it should have went
your idea - sketch - scan - illustrator or Photoshop
using to many things like Acrylics, Ink I just think you put too much work into it.
save your self time and pick one
ok ok im babbling
points tossed.

but then he used on top of all that PS and Illustrator and ink
you don't think there were to many things used?
my personal opinion is yes to much
some times simple is good.

This illustration is an outcoming of 7 weeks of sketching and experimenting with characters, styles and materials. The basics of this illustration are indeed pencil, Acrylics and a little splash of Ink., finished with PS and Illustrator.
I am still developing my personal style and I am still experimenting with it.
I love to work with mixed media and I'm searching for an interesting way of putting technics together to create an image. Combining these technics helped me in my development and this was one of the greater experiments.
This is the way I like to work and I think it contributes something to the quality of my artwork.
Sometimes less is more, I agree, but in this stage combining these technics just felt right.
